Behavior Management Specialist

The Behavior Management Specialist will help child care teachers and parents increase school readiness (promoting social and emotional development) of children in child-care programs in Caldwell County.  The Specialist will provide on-going consultation, training, and support to child care providers in Caldwell County, in the effective use of basic behavior management principles such as positive discipline and nurturing and assist families with children, ages 0-5, with at-risk behavior in the child care setting through parenting skills and behavior management training and support.  Individual and family therapy services will be provided in the home or community, including developmental, emotional, behavioral or mental health.  The Behavior Management services will be provided full-time by a qualified human services counselor.
